130/365 Kingfisher Part II

I had another session this morning with the Kingfisher.  A 4.45 start allowed me to get into place in time and wait for the sun to pop its head over the bank, lighting just the bird and plunging everything else into darkness. Although I’m extremely pleased with this image a photographer is never happy as it wasn’t the image I was after but tomorrow is another day.

  1. I had a specific perch in mind that I wanted it on. The clamp that I was using to hold the perch in place was slightly higher than the perch itself so the Kingfisher was constantly landing on that. I have to re-think my height! Hopefully I will get it.
