135/365 Red footed Falcon

Well its been a bit quiet on the blog and for a very good reason….. I’ve just spent a fantastic time photographing in the wilds of Hungary.  Using some very specialist hides I have photographed some incredible species such as Goshawk, Hawfinch, Bee-eater and Roller.
To start off the images here is a female Red-footed Falcon preening her tail feathers.  Although the background was still in full sun, the hide I was sitting in was casting a shadow across this individual giving this almost glowing effect.
