Adobe Lightroom Tuition

NEXT WORKSHOP: Thursday 2nd February 2017 at The Flash Centre in Birmingham £99 (6 spaces left)

If you’re looking at the above and thinking how on earth did he do that, then this course is perfect for you!

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is quickly becoming the number one software to go to for processing images with amateurs and professionals alike.  Regardless of how good you think your images are in camera they can always be made better with Lightroom pulling out the details to really make your images stand out.

If you are a beginner or an intermediate user of Lightroom then this course is designed with you in mind.  I will be starting from the very basics of importing images into the catalog and looking at the develop module where you can change exposure, contrast, saturation and removing dust spots to name a few.  Moving forwards from there, we will explore the usefulness of the keywording module and how this can make your life so much easier when searching and cataloging your images.  It really is a great piece of software and with this in-depth workshop you will be able to use and process your images with confidence.

The course will cover:

Importing and exporting images
Adding metadata and keywords on import
Selecting, deleting, and comparing images
Adding ratings to images and using the quick collection
Changing information on the thumbnails to suit your workflow
Creating collections, selecting images and adding to collection
Changing the order of selection using presets
The use of the develop module to process images using non destructive editing
Creating virtual copies
Export section looking at size and resolution, creating preset exports, email photos
Building smart and 1:1 previews
Moving photographs and how to find missing images
