Birdwatching magazine showcase…

I was hugely pleased to find that seven of my images were used in the February issue of the nationwide magazine Birdwatching.   This monthly section showcases the skills of some of the best known wildlife photographers so it was a great honour to be included in this. This is the first time that my work has been published in such a way.  Hopefully it will be the start of many to come.
The image below is a capture of pages 84 and 85 and shows a Superb Starling sitting on top of a very spikey acacia bush in Kenya .  The top right image is of a Great Crested Grebe in flight which is not often captured as they usually fly under the cover of darkness and will usually spend most of the day on the water.  The bottom image is of an Oystercatcher very peacefully looking out to sea as the sun sets with the incoming waves rolling past in the distance.  All these images bring back great memories and I can recall taking them as though it was yesterday.  I really enjoy taking photos and I hope that this pleasure is passed on to the viewer through looking at my pictures.
