Talks last for approximately 90mins, although the duration can be altered to cater for your needs. Ian can talk to any size group and adapt the talk for all levels of interest and expertise.

‘Walking the Malvern Hills in search of Wildlife’. 90mins
Living in Malvern for several years, Ian knows the Malvern Hills are full of wildlife watching opportunities throughout the year. Shown through stunning photography this talk will interest locals and visitors alike by introducing Ian’s favourite walks and locations to find wildlife throughout the Malvern Hills area.
‘Sun, Sea and Sandpipers’. 90mins
Booking holidays will always leave bird watchers itching to find out what species they are going to discover. Starting with the Farne Islands in the UK, Ian’s photographic journey will show you what is on offer in the Camargue, the bird of prey migration in Israel and Borneo and finding the best opportunities whilst there.
‘Improving your wildlife photography’. 90mins
This is a very popular talk with the camera clubs. Photography equipment ranges from small wide angle lenses to huge telephoto lenses. Regardless of what cameras and lenses you have, Ian’s talk will show you how you can get the most out of your equipment and how to get close to wildlife and get those images you have always wanted.
‘The jewels and hidden gems of Costa Rica’. 90mins.
Spending three months in Costa Rica, Ian explores the different species and locations he observed and photographed. With Resplendent Quetzal’s in the high mountains, Magnificent Frigatebird’s along the coastline, White-necked Jacobin’s, Montezuma Orupendula’s, Strawberry Poison Dart frogs and Tarantulas, Ian’s images will leave you wanting to visit this exotic place of wildlife diversity.
“Wildlife through the lens’. 90mins
The second in the series of improving your wildlife photography. This talk goes into more detail of the behind the scenes of how an image was taken and what planning was used. A lot of helpful hints and tips is given in this so is a great talk for the photography groups. A relaxed approach is used with this one as there are always lots of questions I love to answer.
